What do I mean by this? Well lets think about this for a minute. Are you aware of yourself? Of your feelings, your emotions, where they come from, why you feel them, etc. We each have expectations of not only ourselves, but of other people, spouses, children, co-workers, employer, etc. When circumstances and people do not meet these expectations, feelings and emotions come out in response. Are you aware of yourself? I'm talking about the person who is behind the feelings and emotions, the person that has control over these.
We can separate ourselves from these feelings and look at the objectively focusing on where they are coming from. By doing this you can create "new" expectations that will result in different feelings and emotions. We have the control we just don't "think" or believe that we do. We just say "well that's the way I am". That's just an excuse to cop out. Our TRUE selves have control over our feelings, emotions, even our will to do what we want. Only because our feelings and emotions are instantaneous, do we mistakingly believe that we must "cool" down or "take our mind off of it".
This type of thinking prevents you of becoming "aware" of your true self. Just look at our world. We become programmed by our newspapers and our media by tricking us to believe that what they are "framing" in the editing room, is reality. We create our reality. The biggest programming piece of machinery known to man is the TV in your living room, dining room, or any room you have one. People watch it day and night and belive everyting they see. Why is this? The eyes and ears are what we use to decode the world and our environment.
I was watching a video by David Icke, a world renound speaker, talking about this very subject. he went on to say that how we all believe without question that tables, walls, and other things in our everyday life is actually solid. Well even I starting to think more and more about this, and then the next statement made it all click. We were taught in school that everything is made of mass and mass is composed of atoms. Well atoms are not solid. Its the mere "decoding" of the vibrational sounds that we hear from these objects when we hit them that makes them sound solid. Why? Its our minds that do that.
So I ask again, are you aware of yourself now? We are the writers of our destiny, we are the co-creators our circumstances, we have the control to change our attitudes. When we really think about it, God created us in his image. God "thought" of the world and it was created, therefore we have the same ability ourselves. This is confirmed in many places in the bible but one statement by David says it all. "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." What is David saying? He is saying that whatever thoughts you hold about yourself, whatever you desire, think about, dwell about, will come out in your attitude and your behavior and then indirectly shape your future circumstances.
What do you think about all day long? What thoughts, I mean deep thoughts, do you hold about yourself? Our reality is effected by our perceptions of reality. Our perceptions are effected by our internal expectations, values, and thoughts, that drive how we react to people and our environment. See where I'm going with this? It all starts and ends with us. I'm talking about the REAL us; the us that is separate from the feelings, the us that is separated from the will, the us that is separated from the emotions, the us that is sometimes unaware of the influence of itself over our results. We create short cuts that bypass critical thinking and arrive us at decisions we don't even second guess.
I challenge you right now to find yourself, to become aware of your TRUE self. There you will the find the answer to your problems you seek. There you'll find happiness, understanding, and personal power.

Now That Thanksgiving Has Passed
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I know I did. But most importantly did you give thanks for all the blessings in your life and for everyone that is apart of it? Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays right next to Christmas. My question is why does it take these special days to get us thinking about how thankful we are and how giving we can be? We should be thankful everyday and full of gratitude for the many people and things in our lives.
We all get caught up with busy work and things that we believe are so important, we tend to forget to really be grateful for the things and people who are. I'm guilty myself. I had one such experience here lately where I realized I was neglecting an important person in my life because of my drive to complete some of my goals I had set this year and had given them more attention. I can't stress enough how important it is to tell those you love how much they mean to you and never assume that they "just know".
We're not perfect and we will all make mistakes but I wanted to share this because I had hurt my girlfriends feelings, and didn't even realize it. Better yet I was stubborn enough to not even recognize it. How's that for a shock. Now as we enter the last month of the year lets all do something better yet make a new year's resolution. Think of something everyday, doesn't matter how big or how small it is. that the special people in your life do for you. This could be a quality you love about them, something they do that makes you laugh, whatever it may be. Think of something that you appreciate about them, and let them know what it is, and watch what happens.
This will be a Thanksgiving I'll remember forever. Its times like this where you have a paradigm shift in your thinking that causes you to explore and think in different ways. Its the feedback you need to change course in your direction. When it comes down to it, the people that matter most in your life, are the things that cannot be replaced. They're special and unique and should be treated that way.
Thanks for reading and God bless!

Have You Ever Felt Like Quitting?
How many times have you felt like doing this? Its seems just so easy, its right at the tip of your tongue. You question yourself by asking is it worth it, do I really want to endure the pain to move on? Have you ever felt like this? I have.
I've been to the brink of just letting completely go, but right as I'm at my weakest, I stop. I begin to see visions of my family, my life, and my inner most deepest emotions come to the surface and compel me to move on. I close my eyes and I get goosebumps, and its right at this moment I become my strongest. How's that for inspiration?
See we all face challenges but we all expect not to. Why is that? Why do we expect that if we reach our goals, or reach "our" definition of success, do we think that problems, pain, and issues will go away? That is simply not true. Once we reach our ultimate success new problems and issues will arise giving us more room yet to grow.
I've suffered foreclosure, repossessions, a nasty divorce, emotional stress, a troubled childhood, and many more problems yet something inside of me - I can just feel it pouring through my veins - knows that I'm superior to circumstance and keeps me pressing on. I've emerged through each of these trials smarter, stronger, and more flexible and agile to change. Even better, I've emerged more stable in every aspect of my life, emotionally, financially, and spiritually.
I've found God in my life as a young man and I still pray for guidance. The most influential and motivating book I've ever read was the Bible. Teachings in the Bible can be seen in other books but just rewritten and articulated differently. The power to create your own life and master your mind can be found in many places including the words from David when he said, "as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."
Think about this statement for a minute. It is truly profound. The story of Job and how he lost everything, his home, his wealth, his children, his life as he knew it. He began to lose hope and felt like quitting; then in his weakest moment he asked for forgiveness from God and he become at that moment, the strongest he'd ever been. How's that for inspiration?
The story of Joseph is amazing right from the start. He was exiled by his brothers, sold into slavery, then through perseverance, he became one of the most powerful men in Egypt, second only to Pharaoh, and found his true self in his journey through life filled with trials and struggles. See we all have the seeds of personal growth within us, but few ever realize the importance that circumstances play in nurturing those seeds to trees of opportunity.
When you are faced with life's greatest challenges, and you feel like there is no hope, remember that you are a creator of your life. You have the power to decide your direction, your attitude, your results, and your success. We've been "taught" or "conditioned" to believe that we are victims of circumstance and that we should point the finger at others when we don't get what we want or reach our goals. It keeps you in the "victim" stage, where if you do nothing to rectify your state of mind, you will rot there until you die.
Take responsibility for your life and your actions. Don't be a victim and point the finger. Train your mind to be flexible and agile to change. Continuous improvement is just that, continuous. This process is never-ending and should be treated and embraced as such. Just thinking about the powerful and emotional impact this will have on your life will bring tears to your eyes. Precious tears of joy and relieve that you can now take control over YOUR LIFE.
This may sound so harsh a bit but believe it. If you are not growing you are dying. So the next time you're at the brink of quitting, remember, its there that you will be at your strongest.
So I ask you, do you feel like quitting now?

Personal Responsibility
Okay this is a touchy subject but I'm going to so tell on myself on this one. What ever happened to personal responsibility? We know that we have control over our thoughts, our lives, out attitudes, yet we still look for things or people to blame. Let me tell you, there is definitely many things out there you can find to blame but how about turning that finger around at yourself and get right down to the root of the problem, YOU!!.
When circumstances happen in life who decides how to react to them? You do. Who decides how to perceive those circumstances? You do. See a pattern here? It boils down to you and only you. Take a good look in the mirror. If you're not happy who's fault is it? Yours! Don't think so, then who will change it? Don't worry I'll wait....... Yep you're right again - YOU DO!
I do this to. Its so hard sometimes because we caught up in the moment or we get caught up in the rapid thoughts running through our minds, and then our emotions starting getting out of control. Then after you calm down you say to yourself what was I thinking. How could I be so stupid? I don't know what came over me. Sure you do, you were thinking about it while you were doing it but your attitude at that time was "I don't care" so you acted irrationally and now you come to this point where you feel bad about it.
I know this is hard to think about. Nobody wants to think that everything that happens to them is their own fault. But just try to contemplate this for a second. Who makes the choices to our you interact with the people in your life? Who is the one that is thinking on decisions before you make them and instead of logic, you act emotionally and then feel bad afterward?
Lets talk about a few examples. Is it your spouses fault that you cheated because you don't think they pay attention to you? Or could it be that you're upset and inside you could "get back" at them or "show them" so you cheat? Then you get caught up in the lies and cover up. Who's doing that? Certainly not your spouse.
How about deciding on taking a job? Is it you that makes that decision? So is it your bosses fault you're not happy? You made a commitment to them to do your job and they made a commitment to pay you for it. So can they say because they are not happy today so they don't want to pay you? No, so just the same, if you are having a bad day does that mean you don't hold up your end of the bargain? Again the answer is no.
So as we think about these couple of examples can you start to see a pattern of WHO makes the decisions? Its really simple, take personal responsibility for your actions, thoughts, attitudes, and every decision you make in life. When you start to grasp this topic, and really take it to heart, your eyes will open. And OPEN WIDE they will.
You begin to see things in a different light, a paradigm shift if you will. You will begin to appreciate life more because you will grasp the fact that you control your life. Circumstances don't control you because you are the ultimate judge of the circumstance. What someone else may feel about it doesn't matter. Its nothing until YOU call it what it is.
Remember this the next time you're faced with a decision or circumstance. Be cognizant of your feelings at that moment. Be aware that you are contemplating what decision to make and what the pros and cons are of each. Try to disconnect your feelings from the topic and review subjectively. Then with a clear mind make a decision knowing that you fully take ownership. If you screw up so what, everybody does.
I screw up so bad sometimes that I hate myself for a minute but I begin to realize my negative behavior, and then begin looking and analyzing the situation searching for the lesson that's buried in it. I'm very positive yet I have so much happen to me its ridiculous. The important part is that after the initial shock I actually invite the situation and embrace it. This is because I know that I'll learn something from it and in the end I'll be stronger because of it.
Problems begin to not seem like problems, they seem to be just another item on the to do list. Over time you gain strength, power, energy, and wisdom. You really do have control you just have to know and believe you do. Once this happens, watch out, you'll be energized just by the thought of it.

Have You Told Them?
I just wanted to take a moment to ask an important question. I know we all get up in day to day activies and we can get so busy that we are just dead tired at the end of the day and we just want to relax. Have you told your loved ones today how much they mean to you? Did you give your spouse or children a warm hug that was heart felt today? Its only in times of trouble or crisis that we really "feel" appreciation for our loved ones. This is not always the case but it happens more times than not.
Tell your wife or husband you love them and let them know how special they are to you. In life we get so used to a routine and assume our loved ones "just know" how we feel. While that is true they also need to HEAR that its true. Life is about sharing moments, and creating memories. It doesn't have to be all about reaching your career or financial goals, you'll reach a time in your life where you'll be an absolute success but have nobody to enjoy it with. Do you want it to be that way?
Balance of goals is key and personal and spiritual goals should be included in your plans. People are not happy because they're successful, they're successful because their happy. Think about his for a second. Keep thinking a minute. If you're only happy because you are succeeding in your finacial or career goals and your moods vary based on the roller coaster ride we call life, you'll never have true happiness.
I must say I suffered from doing this myself. I got so "worried" about being productive that I didn't even think about balance. I pressed myself for time and missed out on some really important moments in my children's lives. Time is something you can't get back so don't waste it.
Love those who love you. Tell them, with feeling, how much they mean to you. Live every moment as your last in appreciating the very seconds that tick by because once they're gone, they're gone.

Where Has Your Focus Been?
We all know we get distracted and off course from time to time. We begin to ask what happened? Why is this not working? What am I doing wrong? I'm not saying don't worry about performance and results, and not to make changes as needed, we just tend to focus on the wrong things when it appears we're not making progress.
We set our targets on heads, but we're thinking about tails. We judge our days by the harvest and not by the seeds we plant. Persistent effort to follow through with nurturing of those seeds to trees of opportunity is needed.
What do your daily activities consist of? Are you implementing systems? Are you prospecting? Are you improving your knowledge and efficiency of your systems? Its so easy to get caught up on what's going on in the news. You see headlines of a troubled economy yet there are still people thriving, hitting their goals, and growing their businesses.
What's the difference? Its obviously their focus. We can get and stay busy ALL day with busy work. We can shuffle papers, search the net, and even complain about whatever we want to. Now I don't mean to say that you shouldn't know what's going on or even that you shouldn't care. When the economy suffers, people lose jobs and I personally can't stand to hear that.
My point is you don't have to be inundated with it. Use the information to be creative and proactive, taking advantage of opportunity. A slowdown is normal in a business cycle. You should be ready not scared. Your energy will flow to where your focused attention goes. How you think and perceive something will affect how you act toward it thereby creating your reality.
If you think and focus on business is slow; your actions will follow with decreased work hours, your attitude is affected, your creativity slows, your momentum wains, and now your results spell business is slow. If you're focused on the many opportunities that are available, then you begin acting as such. Your attitude is great, you see your targets clearly, creativity is spiraling upward, momentum is gaining, and your results show the same. In other words you find what you're looking for and get what you find.
So where has your focus been? Has it been on all the negative and bad things you can find? Or, are you focused on hitting your targets and reaching your goals? I struggled a lot for a long time due to my impatience. I'm going to tell on myself a little here. I would get so frustrated when I didn't see results instantaneously. I would think, well I worked so hard what happened? I just wouldn't give anything enough time, I wanted instant gratification. This type of focus won't work.
Only when I created a learning environment, and judged my days by the seeds I sowed, did I begin to see the fruit of my labor through my results. I began to steadily and incrementally increase my power and I learned so much from it.
I do want to add something though. Don't ever forget your loved ones. I know we all want success but burning the candle from both ends will only invite adversity and failure. Balance is key. We all want golden eggs, but you have to take care of the goose to insure more golden eggs. We can leverage our time, energy, and money but once time is gone it's gone forever. Cherish and appreciate it like you do the air you feel in your lungs right now.
The bottom line here is stay a student of life, don't "grow up" so to speak and think you know it all. Keep the mindset of a child, in the sense, that you are going to pour your all into everything, keep things simple, have fun, and love those who love you.

Are You Getting Where You Want To Go in Life?
Okay I was sitting at my desk the other day just thinking, as I usually do for about 15 minutes every morning, just contemplating on how I can better serve my readers and followers. I finally, after a few minutes of deep thought, realized that I should ask a very important question first. It may seem simple but its powerful.
Are you getting where you want to go in life? Well let me elaborate a little. We all have dreams we all have goals, we all want to do many things in life. We're bombarded by marketing ads that promise the good life but what we really don't do is try to connect to what we value the most in life. What I mean is, are you writing down ideas that move you or are you just "trying something new"? Do you really love what you do or does it just pay pretty good? Do you jump out of bed every morning ready to tackle the day? These are some pretty good questions that should be asked everyday. Why? Well it will tell you whether or not you are getting where you want to go in life.
Lets take me for example, I love to help people in many ways. I personally care for my clients and I want them to succeed. I don't feel that what I'm doing is work therefore I throw myself into it and I'm achieving great success. I've written down a road map, a plan to how I'm going to achieve what I want in life. See to me, my goals will never be "finished" so to speak. This is because I'll find more worthwhile goals that I'll want to achieve after I reach the ones I have written down now. This is growth.
The most important thing to remember is to keep looking at that plan everyday to make sure you are steadily moving forward. We all hit bumps in the road but that's what helps us learn and we become creative by stimulating our mind and thinking of solutions to our problems rather than complaining about them. We embrace them and are happy at the challenge. See complaining gets you nowhere; and the longer to sit and complain the less time you're devoting to finding a solution.
Sometimes our circumstances are actually blessings in disguise. We soon see that our "old way" of thinking is not bringing us to our desired result so we must make some adjustments and change course in our direction. We need that negative feedback so we can improve. Let me ask you, what are passionate about? What moves you? We must focus on steadily increasing our power through self-analysis, awareness, and strengthening decisions that bring us to the finish line in reaching our goals. There is always room for improvement, just keep a focused mind on this and you'll see dramatic changes in your thought patterns, which in turn, will change your life.
When you focus your thoughts on productive activities and you keep your mind strong, powerful transformation will happen in your life. You'll realize that you are very strong willed, and that you will rarely get stressed. This is because you become a bigger person than your problems and they don't even register in your mind as problems anymore. They are just something else that needs to be done through the course of the day. You'll gain strength and courage. You find that once you can separate your emotions from objective and powerful thought, you'll be able to remain completely calm and level-headed when making decisions. This is very important because when emotionally rattled, you can't possible be in a position to make great decisions.
So are you getting where you want to go in life? If you're not I suggest you take some time, think deeply about your current situation. Practice deep thought every morning before you start your day. Imagine what great things you'll accomplish and then you must incorporate the most important step, you must take ACTION!!!!

The Power of Positive Passion
What is passion? How do you get it? How do you use it? Well the definition of passion has many meanings and that's why I put positive in the title. Passion is intense overpowering emotion or enthusiasm for something or some activity or even someone. It's also a sudden burst of emotion such as rage or anger, this would be negative and definitely not helpful for what I'm talking about.
When we want something in life or feel strongly toward something it usually will generate some form and degree of passion. What we must do is to make sure we channel and use this passion positively in order to keep us moving toward our goals and targets. Allowing it to stir up negative forces within us will only hurt us. As a child I faced great pain and suffering. I lost my father to suicide, my mother to crack cocaine, and my childhood to hurtful and scarring comments such as you will never amount to anything and you're a failure. My stepfather used to to tell me these things constantly and those comments pierced my heart as a young boy and I still to this day remember vividly those words.
I've sense then forgiven him for this but I will always remember how that has changed me forever. When that happened I developed a lot of anger and frustration and always tried to "prove" myself. I later realized that my self worth and importance did not have to come from proving myself to anybody. However it has made me stronger and has helped me realize a lot about human psychology and the effects that emotions have on us and our thoughts.
After my experiences through childhood I then faced again life-changing circumstances as an adult that helped me grow even more as a human being. After this I began to develop a passion within me to want to help others. We can reach monumental success in many areas of our life but I believe there is something deeper within us that we want to achieve that gives us fulfillment and true happiness. I know when I help someone else I become energized. Just the feeling that you get from inspiring someone else when helping them see through the problems and trials they face is amazing.
I've developed a deep passion to help others and inspire them to greatness through sharing my story with them and the world. I used to think that sharing my story would be bragging and then I was embarrassed about it and didn't want people to know "my business". Since then I've realized that sharing my story is neither; only an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and teach others to reach within themselves for the passion and power to make it through and find the opportunities that lay within the circumstances at hand. Napoleon Hill, a fantastic writer about the power of thoughts and motivation wrote in his book Think and Grow Rich, "every adversity has within it the seed of equal or greater benefit."
This quote is powerful because it makes you sit back and look at your circumstances completely after letting the initial feelings and emotions fade. Sometimes we get so caught up with how we feel initially it clouds our minds and judgment and we miss the opportunity it creates. Dreams, purpose, effort, responsibility, circumstances, character, faith, and balance are all interconnected in your quest for greatness. We all have the seeds of personal growth within us, but only a few ever recognize the important role circumstances play in nurturing those seeds to trees of opportunity.
Now some of you may think well if emotions are temporary how then can we develop the passion for something? Well passion used for good purposes and derived from solid principles in your life will remain plentiful. You will "draw from the well" that power and strength needed to continue to move you toward your goal or target no matter what storms you face. It's that internal drive or motivation within you that will keep you going. It is true that we have feelings and emotions that are temporary and our thoughts create those feelings and emotions that drive our actions and then results. So it's very important that you use those principles to combine them with the right thoughts that drive your passion and emotion which will bring you to your results or outcome.
Whatever that may be that drives the passion within you it needs to be a worthwhile goal in order to bring you fulfillment. Use positive passion to your advantage and watch your life begin to change in whatever area you apply it to. Always be a student of yourself, never stop learning and growing. After my father's suicide I felt hopeless. I ran away from home at 16 and never came back. I look at my life now 11 years after that and I'm light years away from where I was mentally, physically, emotionally, and in every aspect of my life.
I'm in college obtaining a finance degree, I have two beautiful children, great professional success and life keeps getting better. God has truly blessed me. The greatest motivational book I ever read was the bible. You can find many writings within in it that mirror some of the great writings of our time about motivation and thought. In Philippians 4:8 (New Testament) Paul said, “Whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
To giveth much is to accomplish much, that is the power of passion.

Purpose Driven Goals
Last week I continued my random writings and thoughts. This week I'll continue again getting into goals and the power of your own thought-life and the correlation with your current results. Enjoy this weeks entry.
We as human beings are responsible for helping our fellow man and to show them life is what you make it; that God loves you and wants you to be blessed. Remember David said, "as a man thinketh in his heart, so shall he be." This is the perfect example of how powerful your thoughts can be in your life. Gratitude and appreciation come from the hard work and struggle of obtaining worthwhile goals and dreams. As your gratitude and appreciation increases so does your blessings. Wisdom is priceless and can only be obtained through experience and perseverance. The right attitude with a grateful mind, and purpose driven goals, can move mountains and change people. Failure cannot compete with persistence, it buckles under the pressure of sustained effort.
Greatness has a name and its purpose. With purpose you can overcome insurmountable obstacles. When the "why" is greater than the "what" nothing can stop you. The only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves. We are a product of our thought factory. As Jesus said in the New Testament, a good tree cannot bear bad fruit and the same for a bad tree cannot bear good fruit; so in essence good thoughts cannot create bad results and vice versa. Our minds are like our muscles in that we need to exercise it to keep it strong; feed it to keep it healthy. Your mind needs to stay properly tuned and maintained or it will exhibit poor performance.
An unhealthy mind will lead to an unhealthy body, they are interconnected. The mind cannot live without the body and the body cannot live without the mind; they must work in harmony. If you want to reach your goals in life you MUST TAKE ACTION. If you want the fruit you must climb the tree. In life the greatest challenge in sharing your vision is to inspire others to see the invisible.
Until next week. God Bless

The Importance of Action

Okay so last week I gave you a piece of some of my writings, this week I'll continue but first I just wanted to say something. I know our lives get hectic and "busy" at times and we get so wrapped up in what we are doing that we forget to show or even tell the ones we really love how much they mean to us. So right now, yes, right now tell them how much you care for them. This could be your wife, girlfriend, child, whomever you choose. Just let them know how much you love them.
If you have parents you haven't talked to for whatever reason. Talk to them. You should count your blessings if you still have parents alive or even drug-free for that matter.

Now enjoy what I have for this week and remember you have the power to change your mind, your destiny, and how your story finishes in life. The special people in your life that drive you and motivate are intricate pieces to the puzzle and you musn't forget that. Cherish every breathe, seize every opportunity, and never fear of what the future holds. If you do, you will rob yourself of wonderful experiences and you will let opportunities just pass you by. God Bless and enjoy!
Is not paintings, cars, and many other things we utilize in everyday life first conceived in our minds? Our imagination is the workshop of the human mind. We can duplicate that which we invision with our imagination into reality by taking action. Action is the key to fulfilling our dreams.
Our thoughts are like gasoline in an automobile, without the ignition - ACTION - the gas cannot do its job by providing the fuel for the engine to run. The ignition is what starts the whole process, action is what begins the process of making your dreams a reality. Our results are fueled by our willingness to take action on our thoughts and dreams. Thoughts become feelings, feelings become actions, and actions become our results.
This harmonious flow repeats itself over and over again. This flow is governed by the Law of Cause and Effect to which every effect has a cause, it's infallible. Just take a few moments and look at where you are today.
1. What are you thinking right now?
2. Did you know your mind never stops? Its always working but what is it working towards?
3. Are you moving forward or backward?
Take a moment and think about this, the results are profound.
Thomas Edison said "what you are will show in what you do." Is it not true then that what you do will show how and what you think? Thoughts of peace, love, and joy should be filling our minds, instead we are bombarded day by day with bad news that eventually clouds our judgment and affects our attitude toward the world and each other.
So long as we live on this earth there will be bad people but no even remotely close to as many good that are in the world. All we hear about is the bad and negative, this feeds the minds of mediocre people who need excuses to justify their actions and place in this world.
Well that's page two I hope you enjoyed it. Next week I'll continue with page 3. Pretty soon I'll be releasing my ebook Living With No Limits, this is my story of my childhood, my upbringing, and many experiences I went through in my life and how its shaped me as a man. Its changed my life and hopefully it will inspire you as well.
Thanks again.
Until next week God bless

What Drives Us in Life?
What I'm going to share with you is some random thoughts put to paper in and effort to fully understand myself, my thoughts, my feelings, and every aspect of what makes me, me. Its an amazing feeling sometimes when you just sit back and think deeply upon many things in your life, your experiences, how you felt at those times, what you planned to do, and what lessons you've learned through trial and error. Its a moment of growth.
See I believe each of us have the seeds of growth and success inside of us we just need nourishment to grow these seeds to trees of opportunity. I never had an ideal childhood and with our society as it is today, many children share the same path. The key is what do you do with it. How do you grow from these experiences. Life to me is a constant learning experience that you continue to go through your entire life. God created us in his likeness and therefore we can participate in the creative process; all we need is the right thought and attitude toward life and circumstances and nothing could ever overcome us.
Below are some of my thoughts I want to share with you that I had one night that inspired me to write them down. I express myself through poetry as well. I did this after my father's suicide too help cope with the loss. I still remember my feelings in that time and how its forever changed my perspective of the world and my responsibilities as a father.
I wonder sometimes why my life has purpose, meaning, sustenance. Confusing at times and others almost a sense of being suspended in air with no support. My struggles in life are a sign of my thought life; a direct reflection of the inner turmoil. But yet something inside of me stirs, it fights back saying; go you must go on, greatness is before you working in your life. In the midst of my trials I smile happily to the world and testify life is grand and full of opportunity.
I make people smile and feel better about themsleves and life, is this my calling? Inside my mind a raging battle goes on between good and bad, positive and negative. The grieving of my father's suicide, the drug addiction of my mother, the mental and physical abuse I endured as a child. What does this all mean? God is in control but what do I make of it? What does he want to tell me?
My soul tells me I will never break. I can bear the burdens of life and still be victorious. With each of my struggles I become stronger, wiser, and more grateful of life. How satisfying would life be if everything was easy and fell into your lap? How grateful one becomes when we labour and fight for what we want in life. When one achieves greatness must not you keep it? One's character has been developed and tested through trials ans struggles. Napoleon Hill once said "within every adversity and defeat lies the seed of equivelant or equal benefit." With greatness comes responsibility and with responsibility comes leadership.
People need leadership; people need direction. Some people today are drowning in their own self pity and mediocrity. We as human beings are made in likeness of God. He wants us to have everything our hearts desires, all that is good of course. He showers us with blessings that we take for granted everyday. Just think about the simple and small things in life that you are blessed with that other people could only dream of having.
Jesus said, "knock and the door shall be opened to you, ask and you shall receive." God wired us wit feelings and emotions and our own sense of free will. Saying that we cannot achieve what want is to say that God cannot create miracles, that's ludicurous. God would not give us dreams without also giving us the tools and means to reach them. Everything you see in your life that is manmade was first conceived in the mind as a thought.
Our minds can be a magical and wonderful place or they can be like jail cells that confine us to torture and agony of our own making.
Well that's page one and I have more to come. Please read the next blog for the continuation of my random writings. In life we all want significance and progress toward our expectations. We must first learn what drives us and fuels our passion then we can examine our thought patterns and see if they match. If not, a self assessment is needed. Sometimes we don't even realize why we do things. I'm guilty myself. I hope you enjoyed this and I'll have more to come.
Thanks
